2. Today Oprah airs. That’s super exciting. I’m certain you’ve all watched the clips by now. It’s perhaps one of my favorite Twifecta appearances ever. Even if you hate one of them, there is no denying that they are brilliant together. Hilarious. We’re not going to talk about this until Sunday for reasons that will become apparent at the end of this rambling, pointless post. The point is we get to watch Kristen on TV. That’s a win no matter what!
3. Today I found out that my thesis was accepted and that I’ll be getting my master’s. I’m so happy I could cry. WAIT! I have been crying! All afternoon. Perhaps it’s pure joy, or perhaps it’s because I haven’t slept in weeks. Now, Lainey says a certain duo are on holiday together. Truthfully I don't care because this has no bearing on my life, but you know what? I’ll fucking celebrate that! Wanna know why? Because at this moment I'll celebrate just about anything... anddddd because I WISH I WAS ON HOLIDAY WITH KRISTEN. Oh wait, I am going on vacation soon!
Fact: I’m going to Hawaii in two weeks because I think I freaking deserve it.

ReplyDeleteI think my fav Stewie photos are from the VF back in fall 2008.. i know it was with the rest of the cast and we got lots of gorgeous pictures of Rob too BUT HOLY HELL she just looks so gd stunning. I pretty much ignore everyone else in that shoot, save for the fabulousness that is her & fingers (lolcakes, i love that name)and even then, SHE is the shining beacon of fuckhawtprettyandawesome ♥ fav inty, shootdamn idk idk. flaunt was pretty great but the bits we've gotten from Elle so far make me heart her haaaaaaaaarder, so I guess I'll go with that.
I suppose I'll toss my hat into the ring for the giveaway. I'm going to scour LA this weekend looking for FLAUNT so if I find it, I'll bow out :)

hihi! i happen to be very happy today aswell!! small world huh! im happy coz at school we played rounders and i managed to hit the ball with the bat! Yes! the ball actually made contact with the bat! But then the ball bounced off my best friends head :( but she was ok, it was really funny actually! Then, i come home to Oprah and die of Kristen cuteness overload. THEN, you posted what you posted (^) and i got even happier. AND at school today we had an assembly about happiness, in the world the UK is the 41st happiest country and America is the 25th happiest country if you wanted to know :)coz someone actually managed to measure how happy a country was.

One of my favorite Kristen moments: I actually will choose the most recent Tonight Show. And that hurts, because I am Team Coco all the way. BUT:
1.) The obvious - holy hotness, Hanky Panky.
2.) The obvious - legs, legs, legs and more legs.
3.) More importantly - Bangers joke ... and her reaction when no one got it. I was dying, girl. Right there with you.
4.) More importantly - Use of CONNOTATION. Intelligent.
5.) More importantly - "We're both ridden with tics." Self awareness and flavorful language = win.
6.) I was all hyped up after, excited to be a fan. Sometimes it feels like we're in on a secret that no one else gets.
7.) Super-bonus: still makes me think of her previous Tonight Show appearance where she TOUCHED CONAN'S HAIR. Dear Lord. I bow down. (again)

ReplyDeletethere are no words for how awesome this is! And to top it you want me to talk about one of my favorite topics? Well, let's see...Kristen Jaymes Stewart rocks my world ever since Panic Room...obviously, being from Eastern Europe it was kind of hard to get hold of most of her work ever since, because we're lame like that in this country and everything gets here harder! Thank God for the Internet though, and thank you dear parents for always providing me with the best internet service :D
Anyway, there's a lot that can be said about how amazing this girl is, and how gloriously beautiful she is...as someone that has seen her grow up, I feel very protective of her...Having a good 7 years on her, I get this mama bear instincts going on every time someone decides to attack "my baby"...but I digress.
One of my favorite interviews of Kristen's is the one she did with Jon Favreau for Interview Magazine, back in the day...this was all pre-Into the Wild even...pre-angst, pre-hate, pre-twilight mania...She's still so young, and innocent in her views but even then, you can feel just by reading the interview that there's more to the 15-year-old actress than meets the eye! and Favreau saw that! and Sean Penn saw that, and sought that, and got that in his movie! and everybody saw that...even back then...She mentions reading for Into the Wild in this interview...well, we all know what an important step in her career Into the Wild turned out to be :) yay for us! (saw this in the cinemas 5 times by the way)
As for more recent stuff...I have to go with Harper's Bazaar because it's hilarious and it has happy radiating from every single word! And of course, it has Rob in it, and I love Rob too :)
Favorite photoshoot? so far, Vanity Fair 2008!it was all sorts of yummy (the short ruffled Chanel dress, the crazy curls in her hair, the Converse, the legs that go on for miles, the countryside scenario...), but it's really, rather hard to pick one, since I like all her pictures for different reasons...

ReplyDeleteThere's only one thing I could say: I love Kristen because she is better than me, than us. We could go on and on about favorite photo shoots and roles and all that. But I love who she is outside of that. Of course no one knows how she is behind the camera, because we never have, or will have for that matter, the privilege to know her that way, but what we do see is a genuine person who is down to earth amidst all the craziness, something not many of us could handle. And she achieved so many things in the last 2-3 years and that makes me look up to her even more. I'm only one year younger than she is and I doubt I could have done all that she has done by now. I admire her because she is better than me, period.

My friend and I sometimes read your blogs together over the phone because she likes the way I read them haha (I probably don't do them justice for you though). My favorite photoshoot of KStew thus far would probably have to be the Vanity Fair one that she shared with Rob. Aside from the obvious eye candy we get to enjoy eating up looking at Robsten in action I think that Kristen looks absolutely gorgeous...and yet still herself. Even though she has her long 'Bella' hair I think she looks very close to the way she does now. Maybe it's the make-up, maybe it's the fact that her clothing style hasn't changed since then, it's only gotten better, but whatever the reason is, to me this is my favorite KStew shoot. Its so hard to actually choose a favorite. But I rather fancy the "Dazed and Confused" spread. For many reasons. Its the first mag I bought just because Kristen was in it. I love the vibrant blue and red backgrounds in the photoshoot. And in a lot of the pics she has minimal makeup on and her skin is perfect and her eyes, piercing. But there's a certain candidness to this shoot I love.
I especially love this pic in particular Seriously, she does a photoshoot better than anyone... well fucking duh! -- Kstew is better than you!

I'm happy you're getting your Master's. I'm happy you're going to Hawaii. I'm happy that Kristen looks more gorgeous & hot everyday. I'm extremely happy this is the 3rd year in a row Kristen & Rob have spent their birthdays together. I'm extremely happy everytime I see Rob look at Kristen in adoration (srsly, what's not to adore?) because KStew really is better than us & he won't settle for anyone but the best.

My favourite photoshoot was interview 2009. Why? because it captured where kristen was in her life perfectly. She had cut her hair for a role and was in joan jett mode, instead of sticking clip in hair pieces and trying to go with the Bella look they took the look and embraced it, saw it for what it was - 100% dedication. This woman is a true actress, a true role model because she isn't always perfect and instead of taking her imperfections and trying to cover them with hollywood fakness she embraces them. Its shows people her age that it's okay to not be everyone elses idea of 'perfection' and that you can be your own person. I think thats a beautiful statement to give and not many people in this business can say that. The Elle shoot is a close second becase again it embraces her and where she is right now, shes 20 and they went with the sassy sexy look because she isn't just Bella Swan shes Kristen Stewart and she is better than you ;)

But then there's still the one that'll have a special place in my heart..Vanity Fair. I think that was the best photoshoot of all time and nothing will ever top that one. Fingers and Her Holiness together is just..<3

I just wanna say (and not because I want the magazine...ok that to) that when I found your site I felt like I found another home to share my love for the Stew. I read your story about how you came to love the Stew and it was like reading my own experiance to myself. Though I never had a "Gosh that Kstew never smiles or whats wrong with her", because I'm pretty awkward myself and I totally felt like I could relate to the Stew, only celebrity I could ever do that with. Anyway, I first thought I was a Twilight fan only, then I thought I was a Rob fan (which I am) but then it hit me one day. It was while watching Adventurland (which I only watched because "bella" was in it. Aren't a dummy not I hit myself on the forehead) The scene in which she stands under the umbrella in the rain in front of Jesse...It hit me...it hit me hard. Those green eyes in the rain...I could write a song....haha I fell in love. I mean I'm straight but damn...I remember that I even sighed. After that it hit me even HARDER when I realized all my favorite fan sites began to be Stew only related and how excited I would get when she would come on TV or when Speak came on lifetime which is every other day and I hate lifetime and I will sit and watch it though I've seen it hundreds of times. I am a bigger KStew fan than anything else, I was so blind before. I literally sigh every time I see her on TV or movies...Thanks to you I found another home to share my love for the Stew. Thank you so much, I don't feel like a one woman army defending her from the haters anymore. I have someone else on my side. Thanks and sorry bout this long ass comment, just felt like sharing my love story for Stew.

ReplyDeleteI'm from Ireland and have, as many others have, been struggling to find a copy of Flaunt in any of the stores over here. And I highly doubt that I will find a copy of it on sale over here.
Long story short, it'd be great if I got a copy but if not, it's all good! I'll just end up writing an article about your website someday and how it whiled away days and days of my life when I probably should have been studying and enlightened me to just how awesome (and much better than me :D) Kristen really is!
