Sharing Saturday

Hello my lovely people! Today is a weird day because I will NOT I repeat NOT be telling you why KStew is better than you [not that you really need me to in order to know it. I mean come on...]. WHAAAAA? Yeah. I know. Weird, right? Instead, today's post is a short and sweet tale of a fan encounter that I really really enjoyed. Then I’m going to share another e-mail with you because there is something very special about it. Take my word for it. We shall call today: SHARING SATURDAY!  Thank you to our two lovely girls who shared with us. Let’s roll.

I have a wonderful e-mailing friend named Iris. She is very funny and we are both addicted to our cell phones. Iris told me she went to The Yellow Handkerchief premiere on 2/18. Can you say jealous? I can! Allow me to share what she shared:

“First off, I was super irritated that traffic sucked ass and it was like a parking lot everywhere. Then I missed the turn for parking and had to circle like ten blocks to get back (hate West Hollywood). So we get to the garage and my friend and I walk to the door and there's a bodyguard looking dude there. Of course I'm already on alert. Then as we get by the door a black car with tinted windows pulls up and I'm like no way, can't be, this is not happening (and part of me kinda didn't want it to happen cuz I was feeling slightly panicky at the mere thought of seeing KS). Door opens and her agent jumps out. And now there's this slow scream building up in my head wanting to come out and then holy mother of God she steps out of the car. KRISTEN STEWART. And I hiss to my friend who is on her phone - it's HER. To which she replies, what? And I gesture to where Kristen is walking toward us surrounded by her people.”

Remember how this is a real life picture of me? This would be me. AGAIN.

Can I step in now? All of you that have met Kristen have shittons more courage than I do. I would be shaking in my boots. I wouldn’t know what the fuck to say and I wouldn’t know what the fuck to do and I just wouldn’t know what the fuck perioddddd. I don’t have the guts, is what it comes down to, to approach someone who looks like they are going somewhere. Perhaps I would have alcohol-induced guts so let’s hope if I ever meet Kristen I’m slightly fuzzy.

“There was NO ONE around. It was deserted. And she walked by and I thought, um, free country and we're prolly going to same place anyway (heh - and this will probably never ever happen again in a gazillion years), I follow. I think I may have called a friend but then hung up (cuz why the eff would I be on the phone when KS was in the vicinity) So then we turn a corner and there are some people who ask if they can take a pic and before K can even respond, her people say NO. And K kinda has this confused/apologetic look and says "really?" And I find my voice and say, Later, maybe? And she looks at me and I kinda blurt out I already have my camera (<-- swear to god, never leave home without it) and she stops and says ok.”

MASSIVE PROPS TO YOU IRIS!

Remember when I said Kristen Stewart was a classy girl? THAT IS WHY. Her team of handlers loves to reject people [for their specific reasons], but because she has a soul and appreciates her fans she ignored the outside noise and did it any way. I think I may adore her even more now. What she did? THAT’S A WIN! And props to you Iris for having the effrontery to say something.

“So I give the camera to my friend and KS is standing next to me. And then she looks at me. Like in the eyes and omg she's beautiful. gorgeous. perfection. and she has the prettiest eyes in this whole wide world. and her skin...Like the pics don't even do her justice. AT ALL. She's intense and I cannot hold the stare and I put my arm around her waist (but I'm so afraid I'm gonna wrinkle her sexy LBD so I do it just lightly) and she places her hand on my shoulder and my friend snaps the pic. I have ten thousand things I wanna say - like I'm such a big fan, I can't wait to see the movie, good luck on all the upcoming projects, [you're so much better than me - heh] etc but as always, when I meet people I totally adore, I become mute (UGH I need to freaking get over this) and all I manage to choke out is THANK U SO MUCH and she says (in her kinda low, sexy, husky voice) oh no, no problem.”

I’m pretty sure I would be mute too. Standing in the presence of Her Holiness ALONE could be potentially intimidating. When you’re in a crowd you have the support of a million screaming people. Alone? You gotta put balls to the wall and just be in the moment. Congratulations to you, Iris, for getting that pic and for sharing. Who knows which one of us will be next to have a Stewcounter!!!!! Lots of public appearances coming up my lovely friends…. and I know for a FACT that a lot of you are going.

Let’s switch gears. I got the greatest e-mails and tweets from you guys wishing me a Happy Birthday. To all of you I say:

Can I send this to all of you somehow? Maybe virtual hugs?

On the eve of my birthday a wonderful girl named Jamie sent me an e-mail. It was a great e-mail but what got me was at the end. At the end she left a PS that made me nearly die of laughter:

“P.S. I've attached a picture that shows just how much my friends accept my KStew obsession. I had a twenty-something birthday back in January. They surprised me with this cake. It even said, "Love, Kristen." Of course, they added the pictures themselves, but Publix did the rest of the decorating. When one of my friends picked it up the people at Publix said, "Aww...are you Kristen?" To which she said, "Nope," and walked away. I wish I could've witnessed it.”

HOW AWESOME IS THAT. LIKE SERIOUSLY. Sometimes I find cakes creepy as fuck. Do any of you read Cake Wrecks? I do. It makes me laugh my ass off. Sometimes, though, the TwiCakes are borderline worthy of arrest. This is just plain old FUNNY. Actually, it’s fucking hilarious. Jamie, your friends are SO much better than mine! Mine would never EVER take the time to print out little pictures and glue them to Popsicle sticks before sticking them into a cake. [PS- They picked the BEST Kstew photo shoots! Seriously. Those are all my favorite ones.] In addition to that my friends would never be creative enough to make my cake from Kristen. This was really cute and really funny, so thank you for sharing on Sharing Saturday.

It's that time of the year to turn on your TV and try not to fall asleep while music cuts off

You had to know this was coming, right? TOMORROW IS THE OSCARS. Holy guacamole I could pass out I’m so excited. [Note: I’m not excited for the actual show. The Academy Awards are long and mundane. But KStewRedCarpetPorn? PUH-LEASE.] KStew is presenting with Taylor Lautner. Let’s cut the boy some slack. He’s just a kid. He doesn’t know any better. He is always so outgoing and nice and I mean he tries so damn hard. My ONE point of contention? THE LEAN aka the LautLean! Stand up straight boy! It’s bad for your posture! Please no leaning. I promise one side of your body isn’t heavier than the other…. although with all those muscles you never know…

Do you know how easy it was for me to make this? That's saying something. NO MORE LAUTLEAN TAY TAY!

Now for Kristen! Oh golly can you guys even contain your excitement? I can’t. The steez. Some of the gowns on the runways this year were epic. I can’t wait. I want to see what they do with her hair. Do you think it’ll be up? Curled down? And the dress! Any color predictions? Any one want to be so bold as to guess designers? What do you feel about jewelry? She was never big on jewelry.
