Like the cheerleaders... but not.

Today’s post is scatter brained. I think you can ride it out because you guys get me. I’m strung out from a 3-day-long caffeine binge. It was epic. Let’s roll my lovely friends!

Halloween is probably one of the greatest days of the year in college. One year my roommate dressed up as a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. I asked her why the hell she wanted to be that for Halloween. She responded, “Just like their intro used to say: always classy, never trashy!”

....hmmmmm....

I’m not sure I agreed with that notion then and I’m not entirely convinced I agree with it now, but that’s neither here nor there. Several hours later I was chatting with some friends at a house party.

“CC!” My friend said running to me, “You need to get Lizzie home. She is a hot mess.”

Shocker. This girl weighs 100 pounds. She could drink a beer and be swinging from a chandelier. I envied that. When I walked into the room she was splayed out on the couch over five different guys [fear not, they were our friends]. Her skirt was stuck in her brief so her ass was hanging out. She was a real winner!

Real life picture. Remember those days of college? Shitty beer and shittons of it at that?

"Oh for crying out loud.” I said walking up to her.

She giggled as I put her arm around me and helped her walk. We then began to trek back to our house that was just down the street.

“Lady I’m gonna puke!” She said turning to me as her tequila breath washed over my face triggering my gag reflex. I let her go and she went down to the ground and let it all out on the side of the street. When she was done her hair was hanging all over, she was sweaty, she was a HOT MESS and she just looked reDONK. I laughed. She pouted and then chuckled before looking up at me and said, “What do you think CC? Always classy, never trashy!”

"Riiiiiiiiight." I said picking my hot mess back up off the ground.

I have received several e-mails [HIGHlarious e-mails] about the premiere of Remember Me. Some of you went. Your stories are so unbelievably awesome. Most of us watched and foamed at the mouth. I was in a Starbucks awaiting every picture as it came rolling in and each time I squeed. It’s fine though, my barista already thought I was nuts because I was there for 3 days. Legit. You’re welcome Starbucks!

I want to dive right into the steez!!! It wasn’t for everyone. We’re all entitled to our own opinion. Want mine? AHHHHHHHHHHHHH I LOOOOOOVEEEEEDDDDDDD ITTTTTTTTTTTTT! Some say she was underdressed. To them I say: FUCK YOUUUU and SHUT UPPP [mature, right?]. She is not Ashley Greene. She doesn’t overdress for every single carpet [Sorry, Ashley]. That night was NOT her night. She knew it. And it’s not like she showed up in a Walmart special for Pete's sake. Those were some Burberry pants/spandex [or can we just call them second skin?], a Nicole Miller leather jacket [the one I foamed at the mouth over in London with that fucking Pucci dress], and some badass shoes. The shirt was a point of contention. Would you be surprised if she said, “uh I’d rather turn my t-shirt inside out than wear something new and uncomfortable,” because I wouldn’t. Those of you who get IT got it. And besides, she changed several times that night and eventually her outfit was quite casual and cohesive. Walking into the theater she looked like this:

WIN.

Walking out of the theater to the PARTAY [shit guys, I wasn't invited AGAIN] she looked like this:

OIC your shooooeeeesssss

And walking out of the after party she looked like this:

Just wondering, did you need help getting out of that previous pair of pants or..?

I want to back up and talk about the pants. Did you SEE THOSE PANTS. That was second skin. That behind? Please. You can’t even pay for that. Plastic surgeons can’t give you that. That is some good ass genes—literally! She is so flipping beautiful it’s disgusting.

The pants are splitting you guys down the middle. I get it. I would NEVER wear those pants. The first reason is my ass is a wee-bit bigger than Ms. Thang’s and the second is I just couldn’t pull it off. Hell not many can pull that off. I think the issue is that we’re all stuck on the color. For someone who never ever wears color I can dig it. I can appreciate it. Want to see BAD colored pants? We don’t need to look beyond her favorite Twi Director. Chris Weitz:

Those are... different...

Now. Let’s put Kristen in his pants [get your minds OUT of the gutter you silly people]:

Eh...

Now let’s look at Kristen in HER Burberry Second Skin pants again:

Not so bad comparatively, no? You're welcome world!

See? It’s a little better no? I like the pants. I don’t know. I think If you're going to wear something like that you have to OWN IT. IMO she does.

I bet Chris Weitz called her yesterday to talk about the pants:

CW: Hey Kris. Saw you wore yellow pants yesterday.

K: Uh they were more of a mustardy goldish. No yellow.

CW: They were yellow.

K: False.

CW: I'm a director. I put gentle golden hues all over New Moon. I know yellow.

K: Gold and yellow are two entirely different colors... so... still no.

CW: Why the hell aren’t you being ripped apart for those pants? I was put on a cross!

K: Uh, can you read? People love to hate me. I’m very aware of my haters. Lots of times I do things just to tick them off, or so CC can create hypothetical conversations.

CW: I had to retire my pants…. What about you!? This is unfair.

K: Now, now Chris. Life is nothing if not unfair but…uh… you want mine?

CW: Do you think I’ll fit?

K: I mean they’re spandex….

CW: *ponders for a few moments* Eh what the hell. Send ‘em my way.

K: *laughs* Do send pics!

Today KStew receives this picture message from CW:

TextfromChris: Psh. I'm keeping these. I rocked the SHIT out of them compared to you.

Um... not his BEST look, but his legs are nice!

TextfromKStew: Please retire those as well. Burn them. Promise I’m not offended. In fact I have a fucking brilliant idea! Let’s retire colored pants all together.... mmmkay?

Moving on. Someone sent me this and it made me laugh so I wanted to share. Perhaps it's not intentionally funny but I can find humor in nearly everything. Can you guys watch this, paying special attention to the voice in the background in the VERY beginning?

Did you hear the guy screaming in the background? It literally made me chuckle.

“THAT’S HOW YOU DO IT BABY! YOU LOOK AWESOME! OHHHH YEAHHHHH!” Now although the scene is frenetic [and if it were me I’d just fetal position it and suck my thumb] at least she has sketchy photogs telling her how hot she is because well… she is hot and she did look awesome and that IS how you do it! It made me giggle. I don't know how they keep a straight face.

Moving on. I’ve had this e-mail friend and we’ve been joking about her going to the premiere of RM for a while and snatching up RPattz. I get an e-mail from her the day after the premiere and she tells me that she actually went! Cindy you lucky biotch! I was so happy. THAT is why I love New York. She lives two miles away from the theater and figured ‘eh what the hell.’ That is badass. So I am reading her e-mail and living vicariously through her and there is one part that just jumps at me:

“But the real fucking fantastic moment was when KStew showed up. I

swear the hush over the crowd could be heard all the way up through

Central Park. Then, the whispers, "Oh my god! Is that really her?"

"Holy shit, it is her!" "She fucking came." Then, the screams.

"KRISTEN!" "I love you Kristen!" I did none of the above. I sat

quietly and oh-so-smugly with my daughter and my best friend thinking,

"You're motherfucking right she came. Now all you haters can kiss my

ass." Seriously CC, it was epic. I wish I could adequately describe

how satisfying the moment was, but I don't even think there are words.”

I want that moment! I’m jealous of that moment. I try to spread that moment EVERY DAY! I shall live through your moment, my dear fried Cindy.

Sometimes it's nice to have someone there for you. Affirmation is an important thing in life. If this wasn’t your affirmation then that is fine, but this was a nice thing for KStew to do. Recognize that. She really is a good person and this just further validated that notion for all of us. Whether she was there as part of Robsten or she was there as Kristen, MFH’s friend, it was a nice thing to do. She stood for pictures and then skipped to the movie without doing press because a. she didn’t want to take away from the actors in the movie and b. all anyone would’ve asked was why she was there. Well, if you haven’t figured that out by now then I'm rendered speechless. What KStew demonstrated is how NOT to steal a spotlight. Taking notes moment stealers? I hope so.

KStew is so better than us. PERIODDDDD. It was very classy of her to show up and sign autographs for her fans. It was classy of her to not wear a gown to someone else’s premiere where another beautiful girl would be walking the red carpet. It was classy of her to stop and allow the press to take pictures. It was classy of her to skip the interviews because had she given interviews, the questions wouldn’t have been about the movie and that’s what that night was all about—Remember Me. A movie she had no role in and yet she still showed up with grace and humility. She is just a class act that Kristen Stewart, and it’s nice to continually see how her fame is not getting to her head.

K: "Uh... me? A cheerleader? No. I have fat ankles."

Because unlike my drunk ass friend Kristen really is always classy and never trashy, KStew is better than you.

[A/N: I missed you guys. This will be long, and I’m about to get mushy on your icey hearts because I’m overtired and overjoyed. Today at 2pm, I handed in a draft of my gateway to graduation [ps- your words of encouragement have literally been from God]. I cried. Literally. I sat in a chair and wept like a fucking baby. My advisor then said, “Well is it because it sucks?” to which I answered, “Shoot me in the face if you don’t like it.” He then told me he was taking me out for a big ass drink. [This could be a great premise for fanfic, no?] So that’s what I’m doing at this very moment!

Confession: at 12am [aka Thursday] I am turning twentysomething. On Friday I’ll be going home for a family bash. This weekend shall be another one chock-full o’ fun [good, wholesome FAMILY fun!]. That being said, one of our fellow loyalists had a KStew run-in at TYH premiere. She has a story and a picture. It’s beautiful. I’ll share that with you probs on Saturday.

I can try to conceptualize and articulate how unbelievable I think all of you are, but I simply cannot find the words. Today I received a package in the mail from one of our fellow KStew lovers, Kikidoll [she kept me company during the BAFTAs], and it was a birthday card and a wonderful present from her. I cried. Legit. The kindness that you all possess within you is something I wish I could shout from the rooftops for all to hear. I'm certain it could end wars. KStew is misunderstood and consequently so are her fans. I’ll pretty much take a bullet for you chicks at this point..

At the stroke of midnight I shall raise my glass to you, my friends, in celebration of a year in my life that has already been blessed by you lovely, lovely people. Have a wonderful rest of the week!]

  1. I want her jacket. In my closet. Right now.

And I wouldn't have been able to pull off them pants. But I didn't mind the outfit on her. It's her style. And she is rockin it.

    Happy Birthday!

  3. CC Have a great day and you are as awesome as ever and I salute you. She rocked that Premiere with grace and maturity way beyond her years and the gasps were not just from the crowd but the whole motherfucking internet. Gossip sites, reporters, journo's tweeting is this real, I can't believe she came, they all wanted her to but nobody thought she would, her name was not on the press list. Because she was there for one reason and that was to support her man. Love you CC and those orange pants of Weitz are legendary.

  4. As usual, this is a great rant. I loved the "convo" between KStew and CW, but I especially enjoyed your attempt to bring crazy Rob fans back down to earth - they are obviously important to each other and support each other, and real fans would totally respect that. Love it! And congrats on handing in the draft, I'm sure it's awesome!!

  5. cc you are great!amazing blog!

  6. Your last comments about REAL fans and liking her/liking him- etc....well, you hit the nail on the head. Regardless if they are together (which, I agree with you- they ARE!) they are friends and if you really love RPattz, then you will RESPECT KStew. The people that comment on the Robsessed Blog need to read this. Thank you for putting it so eloquently!! :)

  7. I don't have enough time to give an adequate comment here but I just have to say I love KStewart's attitude and her support of Rob through all of this - friend and/or lover. After the past few RPatz days and all the stupid shit people ask them and put them though, it makes me happy to think that they might have found someone to share the good parts of 'stardom' with that truly understand the 'crappy' parts of it and this mania they are going through.

Happy birthday, cheers and congrats! Oh and I thought the outfit rocked. I would so wear those pants if they wouldn't make my ass look bigger than it already is!

  8. Happy birthday!!

    Another great post!!

I would have looked like a hippo in those pants, but Kristen looks lovely!

  9. CC I think you and I might share a brain. This post was hilarious and completely on-target, too. Hallelujah sista, preach on, bb. ;)

  10. lovely entry CC! I wholeheartedly agree! Kristen is definitely better than me :)! but bless her heart she's an inspiration...I strive to be as good as she is :)

Not gonna lie, hearing and reading the stuff morons spew about her, especially those morons that claim to be Rob's fans hurts like a bitch, but I'm trying hard to ignore them...after all, if by now they didn't get Kris, if by now they didn't get Rob and his stance on the topic of Kris...then they were not meant to get it, and it's their loss!

How anyone can claim to be Rob's fans and then spew hate towards his friend/girlfriend...I don't get it...I really don't...

Kristen at the RM premiere was a class act! Capital C! so beautiful, so unassuming, so loyal to her very close friend (to say the least, because I too believe they ARE)...showing concern about TomStu's whereabouts...she's a sweetheart and I love her!

And I love you, for writing a blog made of awesome!

    Happy Birthday CC!

  11. CC, luv, there you are. Missed you. Okay, I enjoyed todays diatribe, but I was hoping you might mention the shirt. You know "the shirt". Rob's shirt that K was wearing the morning after. Now K always looks great, but that day, on her was back to LA, she totally outdid herself.
Kristen is like any woman in love- ya gotta wear your man's shirt- slightly dirty is best. Smells just like him.

  12. I am SURE you will NOT print this post cause it disagrees with you BUT, I don't feel ANYONE is better than me and neither should Kris feel anyone is better than her. I may not be as thin or as rich or as pretty and I definitely don't have Rob Pattinson between my legs at night...BUT, I feel that I am as good and as nice as Kris. Nobody is better than anyone else and I am sick of enough is enough. Not everyone is putting her down, so get over it!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Anonymous I respect your opinion entirely. I bet you are just as wonderful as she is. This is a blog of fun. We are just joking around. There is no need to get upset and I do NOT believe everyone is putting her down. At all. We're just joking around here and if it upsets you then you are at liberty to not stop by. :)

  14. CC, thank you for making this blog. It always makes my day every time you post.

I wish you happy birthday and a year of happiness!

  15. Love the post!! I hope her movies do well too! she deserves the best!

  16. Right on target as usual CC. Kristen was all class and this is going to make people hate me for saying it...BUT, I'm going to do it anyway. SHE is what everyone is talking about and she didn't even try or do a single thing to get any attention. Ok, I guess I shouldn't love that, but I do. Especially since she has to put up with so much crap because she dares to have a private life with *gasp* Rob. Kudos Kristen and kudos to you too CC.

  17. awwww CC! the last time you made me cry and snort simultaneously, now am just legit tearing up.

    1) i loved the pants! i mean who else can manage the messy hair (which i loved sooo much as well), gold-lacey pants topped with an old insideout shirt and still wow the people who happened to have caught a glimpse of her that night?! if that's not awesome then i don't know what is. not gonna lie, if i was given a pair of those pants, i would def wear it wholeheartedly. on whether i'd give it justice the way she did per se? maybe not but i'll try anyway. that's how much i liked the pants.

    2) yes there is no question as to how classy she was gracing the premiere the way she did. who says otherwise is just the usual ones finding kristen's every move offensive. what else is new? bottom line is, our girl simply knows what decorum means. she was born into an industry that is pretty much at her beck and call, but she never once take advantage of that privilege. it's just amazing to see someone who is of hollywood birthright, turn out to be the antithesis of what we collectively think a product of hollywood should be. that's simply good breeding and props to her parents for sure.

    3) thanks for always reminding everyone how kstew is better than us. actually now i am also realizing how YOU are better than me. yeah, it's def doing funny things to my self-esteem even more so. but it's ok, i'll get the hang of it for you ;)

    xoxo, dimples

p.s. it was nice of you to address the contrast between real kristen stewart fans to that of robert pattinson's. you see, i have been admiring the girl since her "fierce people" days. i really was convinced it was only a matter of time her name will be on everyone's radar. then came "into the wild" (where she was phenomenal in) which consequently put her in the position to be front and center of the chaos that is the twilight franchise. i've always known her name would blow up soon but not to this extent. i then worried for her 'cos as a long time follower of hers, it's just too much too soon. i'm sure she herself would acknowledge at how absurd these few years have been. anyway, in connection to robert pattinson, i was quite indifferent to the guy 'cos 1) i honestly don't know a thing about him and 2) i simply didn't find anything special about him at face value, no offense. but i forced myself into getting to know the boy to be fair and after a while, i realized he sees kristen the way most of her longtime fans see her. he's been quite consistent with his admiration for her and i respect him more for that. him winning kristen over automatically made him a winner in my books. but then i became aware of his fans and how much flack kristen gets on a daily basis from being associated to him. THAT i do not appreciate. how is it that most of kristen's fans accept rob by default, no questions asked but his fans just can't give kristen the time of day to actually understand her and give her the same respect? does that mean we are just better, good-hearted people? i'd like to think so to somewhat comprehend why they hate the way they do.

p.p.s. have the happiest birthday cc. may the power that be continue to bless your great, good heart. sending you good vibes all round.

  18. I so fucking adore you. Seriously. This was so great, so on point, and so badass. As always, you rock so fucking loud. Like, up to 11 loud. For serious.

  19. Hmmmm ... unfortunate that Anonymous above mistook your f*ck-awesome sense of humor as being completely literal.

I come to this site as a fan, not a cult worshipper. I don't want to BE Kristen; I just want to appreciate her.

Hopefully I speak for the majority of CC's ever-expanding band of readers when I say that I LOVE who I am. Do I really think Kristen Stewart is better than me? I don't know. I don't know the girl personally. She's a great actress, so for all I know, she's acting like a decent person while secretly being a raging b*tch.

But based on everything we've seen? Highly doubt it. Seems pretty damn awesome. Given that everyone from co-stars to crew members to interviewers rave about her, that seems like a rational conclusion.

Besides, I don't mind saying it: Kristen IS prettier than me. Her ass DOES look better in those pants. She is WAY more successful than I am. (and she's 8 years younger) None of these things bother me; there are a fair number of people about whom those things are true. It doesn't mean I'm not pretty or successful, or that I don't have a great ass. It just means other people - including Kristen - are better in those aspects. I'm cool with that. (Besides, I have a great rack.)

And, more importantly, I DO think she's better than many of her peers. She's humble, she takes her work very seriously, she's not a famewhore, she doesn't conform to anyone's idea of what she should be. She's kind and giving to her fans.

In other words, blog premise = so legit it's not even funny. Er, I mean, it is funny. Hilariously funny. CC, thank you for the amusements. And have an AMAZING birthday! :)

    @MyCleverAlias

  20. I"m kind of wondering if some people are missing the point of this site. I took it to mean she's better than the haters and therefore, they hate her. Am I wrong? I don't take this site as a personal attack on me. I'm secure in who I am and don't have to hate a teenager to make me feel better. Get over it any insecure bitches out there! KSTEW is better than you! LOL

  21. truthfully I liked it because it rhymed! HAAAAA! Truthfully we're all brilliant. I can attest to that personally. It's just for fun.

  24. CC Happy Birthday, girl! I hope it's the best birthday ever and you are/will be totally wasted and will get TONS of presents! (Not that it's the most important thing or anything, when you have people who love you around, but it's still nice to get some precies, right?! ;))

And secondly, you blog (as usual) rocks! And so do you. I was so sure Kris wouldn't go to the premier so it was a fantastic surprise and I agree that the girl did it with style.

Someone's literal take on your Kristen Is Better Than You line made me chuckle! I love your sense of humour and am surprised that some people don't get it. Reading your blog always makes my day, because you are funny and smart and you stand up for an awesome girl. It had never affected my self-esteem (have no problems with that) and I always find myself nodding along with the end of your every post and the KIBTY line.

You rock, girl so I wish you a happy happy birthday!

  25. CC just want to say happy happy birthday and I wish you all the success, I'm beginning to be a fan, you really rock girl, thanks for another hilarious post.

  26. Happy 40th CC hahaha kidding! Happy bday on Saturday (?) hope you did well in your paper and hope everything positive and badass comes your way. If the Stew can do it, so can you.

Regarding your post...EPIC! I feel like theres not enough words for me to express how much your blogs crack me up and make me grin like an idiot. If I could find anything that makes me all giddy inside and makes me dream of good things for you...it'll probably be the word that makes me feel all giddy and dream good things for the Stew. You know? I don't know what i'm talking about. But you're the bomb, you're like chocolate in my mouth, you're like freshness when i get out of the shower haha, you're like the feeling i get when i'm really, really hungry and when i taste that first slice of pizza for the first time in how many hours...yeah that good feeling, satisfaction.
Ok thats enough. But you're all of that and everything in between. I luvs you long time ;)

    PEACE BITCH haha

Sorry for being a bit late - I have no idea how that happens. Seriously. I check your blog everyday - but; happy birthday CC!!! You are awesome in every aspect. Hope you had a good one.

Much love and hope you got classy drunk on your birthday!

  30. I really love your humor. LOL This was another great post. I thought Kristen was wonderful for coming to the premiere and brilliant in how she handled the whole thing.

I might be wrong, but I'm really hoping that the 'Rob fans' who hate on Kristen are a very small faction of fans who make a loud noise to get attention but don't amount to a hill of beans. Cause so many of them are just sick. I'm a Rob fan first and foremost, but like a poster above (in reverse) I've learned more about KStew as time goes on and have come to appreciate her. Her style, her thoughts, her loyalty, her talent. I get why Rob was smitten at first sight and has never stopped. He couldn't ask for a better friend/lover. They are both really lucky and seem smart enough to know it.

But I always find a lot of laughs and a lot of truth over here so I'll keep coming back. Can't wait for your friends story. ;)
